LUBRICATION

SERVICE INTERVALS

Fluid Inspection and Replacement
Check fluid level(s) at least once a year. Change transmission/transaxle fluids every 60,000 miles for normal driving conditions and every 30,000 miles for severe driving conditions.

CHECKING FLUID LEVEL

Transaxle Fluid
Remove fill plug from transaxle. Fluid should be up to bottom of fill hole on side of case.

Transmission Fluid
Remove fill plug from transmission. Fluid should be up to bottom of fill hole on side of case.

RECOMMENDED FLUID

FLUID SPECIFICATIONS

• Transmission/Transaxle Fluid
  • All-Season Usage: SAE 75W-90, API GL-4 or GL-5.
  • Temp. Greater Than 50°F (10°C): SAE 80W-90, API GL-4 or GL-5.

TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

• Drain Plug: Install NEW washer.
  • Forward Transmission Plug 30-43 (40-58) Ft. Lbs. (N.m)
  • Rearward Transmission Plug 15-23 (21-31) Ft. Lbs. (N.m)
• Fill Plug 18-29 (24-39) Ft. Lbs. (N.m)
