Tie Rod Quick Test
GeneralAutoRepairThis quick test applies to all vehicles and make.
1. Jack vehicle up on the side where you will be testing the tie rods. FYI: Jacking positions may differ from vehicle to vehicle.
2. Grab wheel by 3'oclock and 9'oclock positions.
3. Rock wheel back and forth. Any movement will indicate that tie rods need a closer inspection.
